What if my income is below the Minimum Income Threshold when repayments are due?
This is exactly why the Minimum Income Threshold exists! If your income is below the threshold when your repayments are due (either +60 days after your course ends or at any time during your agreement), you can request to pause your ISA payments.
How to request a payment pause
📩 Email us at support@mydra.io before your next payment is due to request a pause.
📄 Provide proof of your current income—in addition to using Bankflip.io data to validate your request to pause payments. we may also ask for payslips, bank statements, or other documents to verify your request
✅ Once approved, your repayments will pause until your income rises above the threshold.
⚠️ Important: payments are not paused until Myrda confirms this is the case
What happens while payments are paused?
- You won’t need to make full repayments until your income is back above the threshold.
- The €10 monthly admin charge will still apply to keep your ISA active - this ensures your direct debit remains valid and your agreement stays in good standing.
- We may ask you to provide proof each month that your income remains below the minimum income threshold.
- ⚠️ If you don’t provide the required proof within 10 business days, we will assume your income has increased again and adjust your full payments to resume automatically.
